V USP BRICS Conference
On 26-29 October 2021, the University of Sao Paulo BRICS Study Group and Faculty of Law will host the 5th USP BRICS Conference.
BRICS Conference takes place in University of São Paulo since 2017. Promoted by the Centre for BRICS’ Studies, the conference joins researcher, leaders and diplomatic representatives coming from all BRICS’ countries.
In this year, the Conference will discuss “Cooperation and Consensus in the Rearrangement of Global Relations”. The issue has been chosen after the necessity of rethinking global relations and raising possible opportunities for BRICS’s cooperation, in a context that pandemic and economic crisis have reshaped the political scenario.
Therefore, twelve panels have been conceived to address important issues for BRICS’ countries, having prominent professionals - those who perform relevant roles for the readjustment of global relations – as participants.
Special guest speakers include the Ambassador of India in Brazil and the Ambassador of Brazil in Russia, as well as special discussion sessions with Consulate Representatives of the five BRICS countries in Sao Paulo.

Participation will be certified by the Department of International Law from the University of Sao Paulo.
