Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), Manesar (Dist. Gurgaon), is an autonomous institute of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India and operates Centre for MSME as a centre of Excellence in the field of Entrepreneurship, Education, training, Information, Research and Consultancy and other allied areas such as Policy Facilitation, Capacity Building, institutional strengthening, Sector guidelines and advocacy to develop best practices for SMEs

BRICS CCI are jointly organizing the workshop on Export Management, which is envisioned to:
- How to Develop robust export plan for your company
- How to carry out due diligence in respect of export documentations viz. Contract Documentations,(Contract/ order/ LC), Invoice, GR form, Bill of lading/ Airway bill, Marine Insurance Coverage, Nonpayment advice from foreign bank, Original unpaid bill(s) of exchange, Protest note, Correspondence with original buyer/ LC opening bank to avoid losses.
- What actions to be initiated through debt collection agent/ lawyer and/ or Indian consulate abroad, to recover the debt in different export transactions. Whether the matter has been taken up with ICC under UCPDC
- How to go global and How to compete more successfully.
- How to reduce dependence on few major customers and expand customer base.
- How to even out regional business cycle- related demand fluctuations.
- How to tap additional growth opportunities for niche products, for which the local market is limited.
- How to establish a network of contacts and partners – these can be used to improve offer to traditional local customers.
In nutshell, SMEs and Exporters must be able to identify the resource required for their business and most importantly they should know how to put these resources to work effectively.
The programme is designed to meet the needs of micro, small & medium enterprises as well as middle and senior level officers from central & state governments, PSU’s of central & state governments, autonomous institutions, universities, research institutes, non-government organizations (NGO’s), Senior officials from Banking and Financial Institutions, and Employees of Economic Development Corporations (NSIC, DC-MSME, SIDBI, IFC, German & UN development agencies),Corporate professionals,Existing & Prospective Entrepreneurs across all verticals viz. manufacturing, IT, Trading, Hospitability, Distribution, Imports & Exports, Retail and other service providers etc.
The objectives & learning outcomes of the programme along with the detailed course contents are annexed with a request to nominate officers from your esteemed organization. The last date for receiving of nomination is December 7, 2015.
